Hello,

Can anyone confirm if its ok to have a patch version discrepancy between PXB and MySQL 8 - specifically if PXB is a HIGHER version? i.e. Running MySQL 8.0.26 with PXB 8.0.29?

If the above is OK, can you please further clarify if this a PXB policy or just coincidence that this works in this specific case? ie. would it work for PXB 8.0.30 when that is released too?

Hello, the current policy is that xtrabackup version higher or equal than mysql is a supported scenario. Should be the same for PXB 8.0.30
