cacti empty mysql graphs

we are configuring the percona mysql monitoring plugin with cacti …first we are testing with a local test bed with cacti and mysql server in same server .cacti can display linux parameters but it is not displaying the mysql parameters in graphs

Have you set mysql credentials in the config file /etc/cacti/ss_get_mysql_stats.php.cnf?

Hope ok if I jump in on this as I too have the same issue with MySQL graphs not showing data. First I thought it might be a firewall issue with remote servers but then I noticed even the mysql on local Cacti host is not graphing for MySQL.

I have the ss_get_mysql_stats.php.cnf in /etc/cacti/, I have the user and password in all the MySQL databases with correct privileges. The Percona Toolkit is installed on the servers. The graphs are there but they are empty.

Is there a way I can run the query manually from terminal on Cacti server? Do i need to open MySQL ports to and from the remote MySQL servers?

Many Thanks.

I have this problem to. Nothing is happen.
