Upgrade OS version for percona MySQL server from RHEL 6 to RHEL 7

Hi All,

Need help in migrating OS version from RHEL 6 to RHEL 7 for percona MySQL server 5.7.25
The current Database size is around 22 TB.

Please help with the steps

Hi Rahul_Kanaujia,

The best to minimize risks would be that you setup a replica. The replica should have RHEL 7 and Percona Server 5.7.25 (or a newer 5.7 version) and similar resources.

For Percona Server 5.7 you should use xtrabackup version 2.4 NOT 8.0 (8.0 is only for MySQL/PS 8.0)
