Server_error: server error: 502 RDS Installation

Description:

Been using PMM for 6+ years without issues. Having suffered from a failiure to update my installation to 2.42.0 using the home screen, I decided the quickest route would be to reinstall completely from the AWS Marketplace image. Unfortunately after 5 attempts, each time deleting the previous EC2, I have been unable to install successfully.

Steps to Reproduce:

Expected Result:

Successful installation

Actual Result:

Each widget on the Homepage has a small red triangle containing an exclamation mark where the ‘i’ is usually - when rolled over shows ‘server_error: server error: 502’. All widgets contain N/A. The exception is the ‘Failed advisors’ widget which has the correct ‘i’ in the corner and the rollover behaves correctly

Additional Information:

Trying to add an RDS instance to monitoring gives an ‘Internal Server Error’ pop up and the instance does not appear in the Inventory, or generate any metrics in the widgets. However navigating to the Query Analytics page does show the instances and results

Any advice appreciated, I have done this many times over the last 6 years without issue.

There was a bug noted with 2.42.0 AMI but the AMI was fixed with recent version. Try this and see if that works for you.
