pt-deadlock-logger bug?

I am using the toolkit 2.1.5 pt-deadlock-logger (upgraded from an old maakit release) and noticed that the userid does not get recoreded in the database if there is a dash in the userid. Is there a way to fix this behavior?

Unfortunately I am not a Perl coder, so I dont know if a simple escape of the dash would work in the code…

Any suggestions?

Hi,

I was able to reproduce this problem and I have created a bug report in LP. https://bugs.launchpad.net/percona-toolkit/+bug/1082104

If you don’t have enough perl skills (like me), you can monitor this bug and wait for a patch :). It shouldn’t be hard to fix.
