Pg_stats_statements and postgres data source

Hi

Is there a way to have the pg_stat_statements monitor off of a different table, we do not have the extension installed in the default postgres db.

Also is there a way to alter the scrap metrics to less the a minute on the postgres collector. I seem to be stuck on 5 minutes.
