Percona XtraDB Cluster Node restart

Hi everyone,

I have a question. Sometimes, I have to restart a node. Is it normal that the node then always completely synced the data from the master?

I see that the logs are scanned and then a sync is performed. With a relatively large DB, this may take time.

Hi, when you say “completely synced the data from the master” do you mean to say it always requests for a full SST from a donor? If so then you can adjust you gcache.size to avoid this during maintenance period.
