Percona vs MySQL build - dealing with HEAP tables ?

Can’t find in the site info anything that outlines if Percona builds have any performance improvements for handling HEAP tables compared to mysql.com builds ? Or does Percona builds handle HEAP tables in exactly same way as mysql.com builds ?

There are no explicit HEAP table improvements in Percona Server.
