Welcome to the Percona Community Report for November 2025!
This monthly update highlights the energy and collaboration across GitHub, Jira, and the Percona Forum. Whether you’re writing code, reporting issues, or sharing knowledge in discussions, your contributions keep the community thriving. Thank you for being part of it!
GitHub
Percona’s product code lives on GitHub, where community members can submit pull requests, propose improvements, or raise issues.

- 22 existing pull requests reviewed and updated by our team

- 5 pull requests closed or cancelled after review
- Work spanned across 20 repositories

-
Our team reviewed and updated 49 existing issues
-
26 contributors had 27 issues closed, while 44 remain open and 32 are in closed state
-
In total, 70 contributors participated in issue activity this month
A big thank you to everyone whose pull requests were merged in November — your work will be part of upcoming releases and helps keep Percona’s projects moving forward.
- Some pull requests weren’t merged this time — most often because they were better suited for upstream projects (such as MySQL Community) or required additional refinement before acceptance.*
Every repository includes a README and Contributing.md with clear contribution guidelines. While GitHub Issues remain a convenient way to report bugs or suggest improvements, Percona’s primary system for tracking development is Jira at http://perconadev.atlassian.net. All GitHub issues are mirrored there, so you can choose whichever platform works best for you — submit directly to Jira or continue using GitHub Issues.
Jira
Percona uses Jira as its main platform for tracking product development. If you spot a bug or have an idea for improvement, feel free to submit it there.
In November, 14 community users created 26 new issues, and 29 contributors joined discussions through comments across 7 different projects.
Thanks to everyone who participated — your input helps us refine and improve Percona’s products.
