Not able get DROP And DELETE events for a MongoDB after enabling QAN in pmm

HI,
I successfully enabled Query Analytics (QAN) in the PMM dashboard by configuring the mongod.conf file, but I’m still unable to capture events such as DROP and DELETE for QAN-enabled databases. Additionally, client IP and related information are not displaying as expected. I’m working on customizing the dashboard to capture those specific queries, but I need assistance in resolving this issue to properly see the required events and data. Kindly please help me to sort this out?

@vishnu

but I’m still unable to capture events such as DROP and DELETE for QAN-enabled databases.

Did you try to increase/decrease the Absolute time range filter to see if it changing the display behaviour ?

Otherwise with respect to the concern database did you observed other DML/Queries reflecting in the QAN fine ?

You can verify the steps to properly setup QAN here - MongoDB - Percona Monitoring and Management

Bye the way, what PMM version you talking about?

If feasible, can you please share the snapshot of the QAN where you facing the issues ? Are you seeing any errors also there as well ?

Hi @anil.joshi, after making some changes, I am now able to capture the drop events, but I’m still not able to get the client metadata, such as the IP address from which the drop was performed, along with the database and collection involved, from the MongoDB container logs in Docker with that need to able to customize the pmm dashboard , please kindly help me to sort this issue
