innobackupex & MySQL Versions

Hi ,
I tried to find a document that points which MySQL Version - innobackupex X Supported.
Most important is the MySQL 4.0.2.7 on machine : CentOS release 5.2 /Kernel 2.6.18-92.el5 - x86_64

But i will be very glad if someone could post the Innobacupex Supported MySQL List ( Rhel 5+6 64 bit)

These are my MySQL Versions, the Database combined with tables on InnoDB & tables with MyISAM , so i’m working with innobackupex hot backup.

The documentation states:

It can back up data from InnoDB, XtraDB, and MyISAM tables on MySQL 5.1 [1], 5.5 and 5.6 servers, as well as Percona Server with XtraDB. For a high-level overview of many of its advanced features, including a feature comparison, please see About Percona Xtrabackup.

Also on the same documentation, xtrabackup (includes innobackupex) are built using codebase from innodb51, innodb55, innodb56, xtradb55, and xtradb56, so its safe to say that xtrabackup/innobackupex works on 5.1/5.5/5.6 versions of MySQL/Percona Server.
