Incremental Remote Backup - How ?

I am able to take a remote backup using this LINK, BUT, Can some on tell me, HOW can i implement the same for INCREMENTAL backup ?

Is it possible to have an email notification set up for the completion of “Daily Incremental Backup” ?

Regarding email notifications it’s pretty easy to setup by writing a bash script.
