How to take MySQL backup running on Kubernetes using xtrabackup?

The restoring of 40Gb take 3.5 hours to finished(25Gb innodb_buffer_pool_size, 5 CPU)
now, I downloaded the “mydumper” tool and the backup is very fast but the restore with 10 threads take almost the same as regular restore, 4 hours

Do you have any suggestion on how can I make a backup of MySQL running on K8’s using Percona Xtrabackup?

Am I missing something with the restore (MySQL 8.0.21 community version)?
