High Availability on PMM with VictoriaMetrics?

Hi,

As PMM is migrating to VictoriaMetrics, is there a plan in a near future to provide a “true” high availability (and not just deploy / increase the resources of the current nodes)?
Is there / will be a way to split the components and be able to scale horizontally ?

The all-in-one model is very nice and easy to use and very useful, but it is currently difficult to cope with a possible large increase in the number of customers.

Thank you !

Hi @Kevin_Huet,

Thank you for your question.
Yes it’s in our roadmap.
At the moment I can’t say exact date or version when it’s going to be released.

Hi @nurlan,

Thank you for the great system.

I would like to know if there is an estimated date or version for this feature to be available.

If there’s not I would like to give my vote that this is a long awaited feature.

Best regards

Hi @Kevin_Huet,
We are working on making it possible, already made a POC with external storages(VM, Clickhouse, PostgreSQL). Also working on migrating Grafana DB from SQLite to PostgreSQL and working on running PMM in kubernetes. So there is progress but nothing ready for production yet.

Best regards,
