I’m not sure if I’m just being thick, or if this is an actual problem. I’ve got the latest Cacti running on CentOS 7.4 (cacti-1.1.27-1.el7.noarch) and the latest (1.1.7-2) of the cacti templates. We’ve had our primary SQL server implode two straight mornings while performing backups. So, I start really digging into the Cacti graphs and noticed something that appears odd.
It looks like the graph isn’t reporting the InnoDB Buffer Pool correctly. The graph shows 6.8k pages total. With each page being 16KB, this totals 108.8 MB buffer pool. Our buffer pool is actually 38GB.
Am I missing something really obvious here? Or is the template wrong? As an aside, the graph has always shown that value, it’s just never really been an issue numerically until now.
