Thanks for the feedback and insight, much appreciated. We’ll need to review and evaluate this request internally. Adding a new platform comes with some burden on our end (e.g. additional QA/testing efforts), so we try to be very deliberate about this.

Hi @Lenz_Grimmer , do you happen to have an update about this? If Percona Server - MySQL 5.7 on Debian 11 isn’t on the roadmap we will have to start upgrading our server to buster instead of bullseye for the time being.

Hi @maartenlyssens , thanks for the ping. We usually try to match the upstream Oracle MySQL offering, and they do not provide 5.7 releases on Debian 11 either. As of today, we do not have any plans to provide Percona Server 5.7 binary builds on Debian 11.

Actually your support matrix mentions percona-server-5.7 as supported on debian 11 Percona Release Lifecycle Overview also this blog post First Packages for Debian 11 “bullseye” Now Available - Percona Database Performance Blog mentions it as supported and currently being in testing… Any idea when…
