Xtra backup prepare causes restart when using nfs mount mysql community 8.0.26 and xtrac backup 8.0.26-18

We are using
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.4 (Ootpa)
4.18.0-305.12.1.el8_4.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Jul 26 08:06:24 EDT 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
nfs options
nfs rw,noatime,hard,intr,sync,nfsvers=3,proto=tcp,rsize=1048576,wsize=1048576 0 0
mysql community 8.0.26
Percona Xtra Backup 8.0.26-18

Take a backup to an nfs mount
When execute a prepare on the backup taken with nfs mount the server reboots

Anyone else run into this issue, we have attempted to change nfs mounts options, etc. so far no success.

Also we can run backup and prepare using local file systems without issue.

What do your system logs say about this? Have you done any basic troubleshooting? /var/log/messages? dmesg?

There is nothing in /var/log/message just system coming back up messages and nothing before that indicating anything happened. This is very strange never seen anything like this before percona xtra backup puts out no messages system /var/logs have not messages but if we execute a prepare using this nfs mount the server restarts.

Update we changed the NFS mount from cohesity to netapp and the problem as gone away. So appears to be a NFS issue with cohesity.

It would have been interesting to have dmesg -W running in another session while the xtrabackup was running to view the low-level logs of the system. Clearly, something was causing a kernel panic.
