Wait for GTID thread to start timed out

Hi there ,
Facing the below issue when starting the mysql ,It is taking much time to start the mysql ,1 hour and more …
What could be the issue…?

Note : DATA SIZE IS 6 TB

Hi, there is a known bug related to this message. Which version f mysql are you running?

Hi ,
We are running MySQL 8.0.20-11 Version.
OS version - Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS(Bionic Beaver)
Is there any workaround for this bug… or any solution ?

I suggest testing a newer release of 8.0 as the bug doesn’t seem to be solved.
