Hi,
I saw an announcement about mysql vulnerabilities in the Ubuntu security announcements archive.

Do we have to do the recommended upgrade in the percona?

Is such a vulnerability also possible for percona?

As Percona Server for MySQL is a downstream rebase of Community MySQL, yes, any vulnerabilities would also be within Percona’s MySQL too. You should upgrade to the equivalent Percona version as mentioned in the USN/CVE.

I looked for the Percona mysql version equivalent to mysql 5.7.33 but could not find it.

Is there a Percona release equivalent to mysql 5.7.33?

@sayaydin Our release schedule is not aligned with Oracle’s schedule. We will release one soon. Keep an eye out on our blog and these forums for the announcement.
