Upgrade grafana version within PMM 2.42.0

Description:

I’m using PMM version 2.42.0 and in this version the Grafana used is version 9.2.20.

I need to use Grafana version 11 due to new features that have been made available.

Is it possible to upgrade Grafana without causing problems or errors in PMM?

No, there’s quite a bit of customization that happens to Grafana so it’s not at all as simple as upgrading and everything just works. We do not recommend you try or if you do, try it in a safe lab environment and you can decide if what you get outweighs what breaks.

We are working on PMM 3 which will include Grafana 11. Release is planned for end of Q4 2024/beginning of Q1 2025
