Support postgresql operator image base Ubuntu or Rocky

Do Percona have plan support postgresql operator image base Ubuntu or Rocky? Or please have guide to build docker image postgresql to other platform such as Ubuntu or Rocky?

Hi @Van_Duong ,

We have all needed packages for Ubuntu OS. You can find them in our official repos e.g. this one https://repo.percona.com/ppg-14/apt/ . You can easily change the base image and install all needed dependencies.
For now we do not have a plan to add Ubuntu as a base image for PG operator.
Why do you need to have it? Could you please share more information about your use case?

Thank for your info.
I have some case need custom docker image and install some package. On Ubuntu I can easy complete that. ubi8 need Redhat license for extra packages.
And importance, percona postgresql not support postgis. I also need custom docker image install package postgresql standard.
