Series labels missing (series A, series B, ...)

I am new to percona PMM and just set it up with aws rds mysql. I followed these instructions:

Data is also showing up in the PMM UI, but the graph labels all just show series-A, series-B, etc
Did I miss some setting or could this be related to the permission that I gave to the percona user in mysql?

I have the latest version: 3.5.0

I reinstalled everything and then the correct labels showed up.
