PMM2 not able to connect MongoDB Atlas Servers

Hi Team,

Is there a way where we can add MongoDB cloud servers which are hosted in Atlas in PMM2 monitoring,
I don’t see a proper document for it. Could you please share insights on the same?

Hi, at the moment it is not possible but please vote here [PMM-10357] Add flag --direct-connection to pmm-admin - Percona JIRA so that the issue is prioritized.

Is this resolved? We are using mongodb atlas replica set cluster and mongo-exporter to get metrics. I am not sure how to disable direct connection. Any help is appreciated

@Ivan_Groenewold - do we have the option in PMM 3 to connect to mongo atlas directly.

If we still have to use any workaround, can u share the steps.

Yes that approach should work but I can’t give you the exact steps since we don’t really support that scenario. You will need to experiment.
