[PMM] - Query Analytics configuration for MongoDB in Kubernetes

Hello everybody,

I would like a very important help to solve the implementation I’m doing.

In this implementation, I am using Percona to monitor a MongoDB database, however, QAN is not working to get the metrics. It is worth mentioning that this MongoDB database is provisioned in KUBERNETES.

Therefore, I would like to know what steps should I follow so that monitoring via QAN occurs normally.

What settings are needed? What permission should my monitoring user have? Is there any particular MongoDB role that QAN connects to?

Thank you very much for your attention and thanks in advance for your help.

Hey @waly_ferreira !

When you say MongoDB is in k8s - are you using Percona Operator for MongoDB?

If so, can you share more details? Like your custom resource (cr.yaml) or helm charts values would help. Or just provide details of what you see in PMM or in the logs.
If you deploy MongoDB on k8s without our operator, than it would be a bit more challenging.
