PMM installation on same Percona Server Machine

I installed Percona 8 on a production server, I am merging from MySQL 5.7, I have around 2000 databases, and I installed PMM on the same machine, my question is about performance, is the best practice to install the PMM server on the same machine with Percona server or I should install it on separate machine and just install the client on the Percona server

Hi @khaledhu , welcome to the Percona forums!

It is generally best practices to install PMM Server on it’s own dedicated instance. Then you install the client pmm2-client on the MySQL instances.
