Pmm-client v3.7.0 conflicting with itself

Hi everyone,

I have set up the pmm to monitor some database instances across different hosts but I keep getting alerts that the pmm-client package has a conflict defined with itself:

# dnf install pmm-client
Installed:
  pmm-client-3.7.0-7.el8.x86_64

Complete!


# dnf check
pmm-client-3.7.0-7.el8.x86_64 has installed conflict "pmm-client": pmm-client-3.7.0-7.el8.x86_64

I have verified my installation and I haven’t seen anything wrong with it and no other pmm-client versions are installed so I am a bit lost.

I am quite new to all of this so any help is appreciated. Also don’t hesitate to call out anything I did wrong as well.

Thanks for reporting this. Nothing wrong you did, I believe it must be a bug in the the package code, we will consider a fix in the coming release.

For now, you can ignore the check result.
