Percona release Cycle

MySQL & MariaDB Percona XtraDB Cluster 8.x

Hi!

I was wondering when the Percona XtraDB Cluster 8.0.30-XX and Percona XtraDB Cluster 8.0.31-XX would be released. I can see that Percona Server for MySQL 8.0.30-22 (2022-11-21) is already available, but cannot seem to understand how the release cycle for Percona products works exactly.

Hello @george1,
We don’t follow any particular release schedule. Each time a new community version is released, we must manually merge all changes from upstream with our own changes. This takes time. How much time is dependent on how many backwards-breaking things MySQL introduce in that version.
