Hi All,
We all know that we have a data retention policy enabled (30 days or 90 days or any). So, Is there any job scheduled for optimizing the table spaces for all the PostgreSQL, ClikHouse, and Victoria metrics database tables?

Hi @Naresh9999,
No, there are nothing like that.
Thanks @nurlan
However, table optimization will improve performance and free up some disc space. Can you please check on that? If we can implement this, it will be very useful for us.
Can you provide us some evidence that doing this on a routine basis will indeed free up disk space, and improve performance? If you can show us some before/after graphs, and stats, that would help push our dev team to implement something like this.
We have customers running 400+ servers against a single PMM instance, and they don’t have any issues with performance, or disk space.
