MySQL DB filter in Query Analytics

hello cool people
I am trying to apply mysql DB filter, but only ‘n/a’ is displayed as the default filter
I don’t know what to set in Variables
can you help me?

Hi @hj.choi, do you have some load running in your MySQL? Because based on queries and its tables/databases etc we parsing values into this filter. So without queries contains for example some table you will have filter empty. Also could you share your PMM server and PMM client version? Thank you.

As Jiri mentioned, one thing to confirm is if you’re already having load in your MySQL instances.
Also, as for the variables, you may also confirm you configured the proper source for PMM (Slow Query Log or Performance Schema), and depending on your source you may need to set a couple of variables; please refer to this Documentation section from PMM and choosing your source, there you can compare / validate if you’re missing something.
