Multi-source replication MDEV-253

Hi all,

I have over 80 mariadb 5.2 installations and was considering upgrading to percona 5.5. However a recent announcement from MariaDB made me think. The upcoming 5.10 mariadb would have Multi-source replication (see: http: mariadb.atlassian.net/browse/MDEV-253) which I need.

Does anyone know if percona plans to implement this?
I know about Cluster, but my replication installations are far apart and I need multi-source replication. I’m currently doing this by having the master server switch between the nodes every minute.

Hi,

As per discussion with dev team, currently, there are no plans to implement it in Percona versions but if it comes via MySQL then surely it will be implemented.
