Hi all,
We are looking to migrate to Percona server. We are currently running 5.5 MySQL on Solaris (x86) with master and slaves. I was thinking setting a new Linux host with percona 5.6 as a new slave and shutdown one 5.5 slave. Eventually we will have all slaves running Percona 5.6. On a big day, we will shutdown the master and promote the Percona slave as master. Is that the right way to do such migration?
