Hi.
CentOS7 - Patching at 2021 October
Percona xtrabackup and xtrabackup-24.
Installing gets the error “requires libev”.
It seems libev is no longer in EPEL from September this year.
This is interesting as only just noticed that xtrabackup 2.3.6 is served from EPEL as opposed to our local Percona repos.
Is xtrabackup 2.3 (eol)/2.4 supported on CentOS7 please?
If so where do i get libev from that is supportable for an enterprise service?

Hi Evgeniy. Thank you so much.
Consider this a non issue then.
We will have to sort out our extras and move on.
Best regards.
