I would like to know if there is a way to pass extra parameters to an exporter with pmm2. It was possible with pmm1 but I don’t find anything for pmm2. So currently I struggle to activate collect.detailed.stats_mysql_processlist in proxysql exporter.

Your findings are correct. If there are features in PMM 1 that you need to keep using, you should probably stay with PMM 1 for now.
For new users, and those that don’t need these features, then the latest PMM 2 is a good solution, and we’re constantly enhancing the software as it’s a key solution for us.
Is this a related Jira post? It might be worth browsing Jira and subscribing to ‘watch’ any of the reported bug and feature requests that are important to you so that you get early notification of relevant updates. I hope this helps?
