galera Master-Master cluster with cross sites replication

hello
I am running galera Master-Master cluster in one site with 3 master nodes. its version is 5.5 and it works fine.
Now, I would replicate the data to another site. Its latency is around 20ms and i would not want to extend the existing cluster to the remote site.
Any suggestion?
thanks a lot

Hi sklam;

The typical solution would be to setup a slave cluster at the new site and connect it back to your master cluster / site via async replication (standard MySQL replication). That way you will have the copy of your data at the new site for disaster recovery / failover purposes without any performance hit on your master cluster.

Hi Scott
Thanks for the suggestion :slight_smile: . We are trying to deploy this way.

Besides, just wonder gmcast.segment in Galera 3 could help on this case?

Thanks again.

Hi sklam;

I could not comment on Galera/XtraDB Cluster specifics as I do not use it myself, but hopefully one of the Percona people who know it well can help you out. =)
