Encrypting data sended to s3 compatible storage

Hello team,

Is it possible to encrypt (data/binlogs) in PerconaXtraDBClusterBackup before sending them to s3 compatible storage ?

Hi @no_way , welcome to the Percona forums!

Our documentation doesn’t indicate this is a supported operation, but I am asking in our internal Slack if this is expected to change. I’ll update the thread when I have more details. Thanks!

I checked with the PXC Operator Product Owner @Sergey_Pronin and we’re looking at this feature but it hasn’t been given a specific ETA. An option for you would be to open a feature request at https://jira.percona.com/browse/K8SPXC
