XtraDB Cluster 8.0 for Debian 11 (Bullseye)

Any idea when XtraDB Cluster 8.0 will be ready for release for Debian 11 (Bullseye)? It seems I can only install from the testing branch right now.

Also, if I install from the testing branch, what is the process for upgrading to the release branch when it is available?

Hi @tkcent,
We expect Percona XtraDB cluster of 8.0.25-15 version to be released within a week or two. Now it is being tested by our QA team and once everything is verified it will be release even earlier.

With regard to the installation from testing repo and subsequent upgrade to the release one, such procedure was not tested and highly not recommended in order not to break production databases. Please use packages from testing repos only in your staging environments since they are not fully verified by QA and can break production systems.
