The package percona-xtradb-cluster-8.0.39-30.1.el8.aarch64 reports system dependency errors

The version percona-xtradb-cluster-8.0.39-30.1.el8.aarch64 of Percona XtraDB Cluster has dependency compatibility issues on the aarch64 architecture for Enterprise Linux 8. In contrast, the previous version percona-xtradb-cluster-8.0.37-29.1.el8.aarch64 works without such problems.

    • Nothing provides libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.4)(64bit) needed by percona-xtradb-cluster-shared-compat-8.0.39-30.1.el8.aarch64
    • Nothing provides libdl.so.2(GLIBC_2.2.5)(64bit) needed by percona-xtradb-cluster-shared-compat-8.0.39-30.1.el8.aarch64
    • Nothing provides libm.so.6(GLIBC_2.2.5)(64bit) needed by percona-xtradb-cluster-shared-compat-8.0.39-30.1.el8.aarch64
    • Nothing provides libpthread.so.0(GLIBC_2.2.5)(64bit) needed by percona-xtradb-cluster-shared-compat-8.0.39-30.1.el8.aarch64

Thank you for the issue report.
Could you please clear a yum cache and try to install the package?
Packages have been updated in pxc-80 repo.

Thank you for your reply. I have tried following your method, but unfortunately, it still reports dependency compatibility issues. Using version 8.0.37 works without problems. For detailed error messages, please see the image below.

I checked and found that in the latest Anolis 8 and Rocky 8, after installation, using ldd --version to query shows the minimum version as 2.17. Normally, this should include the GLIBC_2.4 version required by Percona. However, when using the latest repositories and RPM packages for installation, dependency compatibility errors are reported. This issue does not occur with version 8.0.37.

Thank you for your reply, I’m sorry, after the test environment was reset, I forgot to close the MySQL module, and the installation from the source can already be used, but the download from the web page https://downloads.percona.com/downloads/Percona-XtraDB-Cluster-80/Percona-XtraDB-Cluster-8.0.39 in the can’t, I downloaded it from repo.percona.com and it was released on December 11th and it works fine, thank you very much for your support, thank you
