SST xtrabackup-v2 with custom directories

[HTF1]

I’ve created a separate directory for bin&relay logs however xtrabackup-v2 is not able to sync/create them on joiner.
When I disable these options below it works fine, is there a way to exclude this directory (log)?

log-bin = /var/lib/mysql/log/mysql-bin
relay-log = /var/lib/mysql/log/mysql-relay
relay_log_info_file = /var/lib/mysql/log/relay-log.info
slave_load_tmpdir = /var/lib/mysql/log/tmp

could it be directory ownership issue? I usually create custom directories with no problem.

I don’t think this is a ownership issue:

ll -d /var/lib/mysql/log/

drwxr-xr-x 4 mysql mysql 28 Jun 18 22:01 /var/lib/mysql/log/

It looks like this directory is removed and then SST process is not able to re-create it?!
