Questions on Auto-bootstrapping an all-down cluster

In that blogpost from 2014 an example was shown that an all-down cluster could be Auto-bootstrapped:
https://www.percona.com/blog/auto-bootstrapping-an-all-down-cluster-with-percona-xtradb-cluster/

From the 8.0 recovery guide i see that that feature seems like not existing any more:

Is it true that in the newer versions we’ve to bootstrap the first node and start all other nodes after shutting them all down or a crash and auto bootstrapping isn’t available any more.
I’ve done some tests with the Blogpost (first link) from December 3, 2014and this is truly not working any more.

Are there similar features or tools available or do we really have to do this now manually with the latest guide?

Feature still exists, and is enabled by default:

Is this not working for you?

Hi,

not at all. Installed all 3 nodes with the default setup guide.

Please kill -9 all nodes, then start them back up. Provide some logs.
