Hi Folks,
Has anyone seen this crash (see below) before in PXC 5.7.32? Its happening periodically when a nightly scheduled job in a busy 3 node system starts deleting some old records from various tables (some of which have foreign key relationships). The job “should” be doing things in the right order i.e. child tables first then the parent. We’d previously had problems with issue PXC-3501 in 5.7.31 around this and 5.7.32 seemed to solve that but we’ve seen a few occurrences of this of late.
Full crash is:
01:00:27 UTC - mysqld got signal 11 ;
This could be because you hit a bug. It is also possible that this binary
or one of the libraries it was linked against is corrupt, improperly built,
or misconfigured. This error can also be caused by malfunctioning hardware.
Attempting to collect some information that could help diagnose the problem.
As this is a crash and something is definitely wrong, the information
collection process might fail.
Please help us make Percona XtraDB Cluster better by reporting any
bugs at https://jira.percona.com/projects/PXC/issues
key_buffer_size=33554432
read_buffer_size=131072
max_used_connections=267
max_threads=501
thread_count=266
connection_count=257
It is possible that mysqld could use up to
key_buffer_size + (read_buffer_size + sort_buffer_size)*max_threads = 232161 K bytes of memory
Hope that's ok; if not, decrease some variables in the equation.
