pt-heartbeat different results for same query

Hi,
I’m using percona-toolkit-2.1.9 pt-heartbeat to monitor replication and i’m trying to understand why i get different results, depends on server i’m runnning it from.

The servers are on different Data centers.

pt-heartbeat --daemonize --update --utc -D DB -h localhost

Server 1 (Master):
pt-heartbeat --check --utc --master-server-id ##### -D DB -h server2
0.17 ( every time the same result)

pt-heartbeat --monitor --utc --master-server-id ##### -D DB -h server2
0.34s [ 0.01s, 0.00s, 0.00s ]
0.34s [ 0.01s, 0.00s, 0.00s ]
0.34s [ 0.02s, 0.00s, 0.00s ]
0.34s [ 0.02s, 0.00s, 0.00s ]
0.34s [ 0.03s, 0.01s, 0.00s ]

Server 2 (Slave):
pt-heartbeat --check --utc --master-server-id ##### -D DB -h server2
0.00 ( every time the same result)

pt-heartbeat --monitor --utc --master-server-id ##### -D DB -h server2
0.00s [ 0.00s, 0.00s, 0.00s ]
0.00s [ 0.00s, 0.00s, 0.00s ]
0.00s [ 0.00s, 0.00s, 0.00s ]
0.00s [ 0.00s, 0.00s, 0.00s ]
0.00s [ 0.00s, 0.00s, 0.00s ]

why the difference? which one is more reliable or the correct one?

Thanks
