Pmm2-client making too many connections to database

Hi All,

We are using PMM2 2.33.0 with pmm-client-2.33.0.
We were using pmm2 since few years now and never had issues. After recently installing version 2.33.0, we have observed that pmm-client is making too many connections to postgres. In our case, it was 157 connections.
And maximum of them are just firing select version() on each database. Has anyone observed this behavior ? or any pointer on how to mitigate this?

Hi,
This seems to be exactly the same as Pmm-client making too many connections to the postgres database. If so, please close this one, so we can continue working over the other, and don’t step over other replies.
