I have installed

mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.23, for Linux (x86_64) using readline 5.1 Server version: 5.5.23-55 Percona Server (GPL), Release 25.3

Using the 11.10 repositories on 12.04

Percona server repositorydeb Percona Repo oneiric maindeb-src Percona Repo oneiric main

When I try to install skype on the machine. It asks me to uninstall percona server

I don’t know what is causing this issue. I’m also posting this to the skype forums, but any help from here will be useful.

I got this too…and if you think “Oh do it anyway” it totally screws up your system!
