Percona MongoDB for large scale apps

Hello, I am wondering if Percona for MongoDB is production ready for large-scale apps where there are hundreds of thousands of reads and writes.

it is ready and heavily used by the community and our customers in production.
As Percona Server for MongoDB is MongoDB Community edition + our open source enterprise features, it is just the matter of how to configure it and what your infrastructure is like.

This is really awesome, so what you mean is that I can use it the same way I use the Community edition like integrating a search engine (Elasticsearch) and using the same drivers to connect?

This is correct. Percona Server for MongoDB is a drop in replacement for MongoDB corp editions. You can even replace the binaries in a replica set.
