I have database and I want to take backup of data base monthly basis like db_april.sql ,db_may.sql I mean requirement is like I need separate backup between 1 months periods like from April 01 to April 30/May 01 to May 31 ,is possible to do and if yes how can I do that …

Can you provide below information?

  1. What is the size of database?
  2. What storage engine you are using? (MySQL/OS versions will be helpful)
  3. is there any date field in each table where you can select records with date range?
