Hi everybody,

Is there any way to transfer the MYSQL from one server to another?
In fact, I am new system administrator in a company. I have to move the MYSQL SERVER to another machine. But I don’t know most of the user name and password of the database. Exactly , I want to transfer the mysql with same user name and password credentials.

Use the same version and just copy the data files. Or use a root account, dump all data (which includes user accounts, which are in the database named mysql), see [URL]http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/backup.html[/URL]
