MySQL Database with a point in the middle

Hi everybody,
I have a problem and for sure you are more experts than me and can help me. I created a database named domainame.com and everything is ok. But I have a problem with the backup because in the directory /databases where the backup go to search the files those are changed to something else. For more clarity here below you can see an extract of the logs:
