Mongod threads continuously increasing

Description:

I Installed pmm-agent on MongoDB instance with default settings according to the setup instructions. When the agent is running, the threads count is increasing in MongoDb service (mongod). After few hours, the threads count increases from around 1000 to around 2000.
Is it a problem ? What is the reason for that ?

  1. While adding mongodb service to PMM, what “flags” have you used?
  2. Do you have high number of databases or collections?
  3. What’s the scrape interval? (PMM Console → Settings)

Hi,
fix for it comming with new PMM release 2.43.2

  1. Added from the PMM inventory. No specific flag.
  2. I do have high number of databases. Can I filter them?
  3. The metrics resolution is standard, if that’s what you mean.
