We still wait to migrate some of mysql -stuff to some new technology like maybe Percona xtradb cluster for MySQL, but I am still wondering about updates / updates policy and that the project seems to be froozen since 8.0.23 and no new releases / news / announces are available ?

We are committed to keep it updated and release new versions. It is lagging behind a bit, but new versions are coming.
