Is it possible to search for queries in QAN

When trying to see the performance of a particular query, we can only really sort high/low on certain fields to see the ones with highest load, highest count, highest query time etc, but can we search for a particular query?

This could be used to search for all queries using a particular table, or field, or similar.

Hi @agrowe pmm 2.x does have search functionality for queries. There is documentation here explaining that, just ctrl+F “search” on this page https://www.percona.com/doc/percona-monitoring-and-management/2.x/query-analytics.html#overview-panel

you can search for queries containing specific words

The CTRL-F search is just the browser based search which doesn’t work with lots of queries over multiple pages.

On the overview page in that linked doc, it has a search bar beside the query dimension. I don’t have that currently, is that only in a specific version?

Updating to 2.11.1 is now showing the search properly.

no, I meant for you to look for the word “search” using ctrl+f on this page https://www.percona.com/doc/percona-monitoring-and-management/2.x/query-analytics.html#overview-panel so that you could find the relevant documentation related to search much faster

anyway hope you are able to search for queries now.
